Presswatch Rankings
Sustaining Competitive Advantagee
In today's competitive climate, companies and brands need to continually reengineer their positioning and communication strategies in line with business needs. The proliferation of media vechicles has put reputation management higher than ever on the corporate agenda, so the PR department needs independent and credible analysis to demonstrate its worth.
Since the first report was published in 1988, Presswatch Rankings has maintained its position as the only independent audit for corporate reputation study in the UK used by the leading FTSE companies. We inform company's on their standing against peers and identify reputation strengths and weaknesses.
How it works
Presswatch Rankings evaluates the 500 most talked about companies in the UK National Press, citing both positive and negative coverage. These results provide the league tables to identify the best and worst performing companies - an independent and credible standard for benchmarking companies against their peers and competitors.
The report provides numerical indicators enabling Communication professionals to see how their company is perceived. Indicators are both absolute (the company's score) and relative (the company's position relative to others overall and within their sector). This information can be tracked over time, allowing historical comparisons to be made over any given period.
